The computers still love the Seattle Seahawks, and it is becoming difficult to see why. Seattle has not played well recently, and just got pushed around at home against the Cowboys. They have played the NFL’s toughest schedule thus far, but that excuse can only explain so much.
After a slow start, San Francisco has snuck their way up into second place in the division, both in the standings and in the playoff odds. This isn’t too much of a surprise since the computers have liked them from the beginning. If they can start to get healthy on defense, they are going to become a very dangerous team later this season.
The computers continue to not believe in the Arizona Cardinals. This is a bit confusing given that they beat San Francisco already this season, and haven’t played a super easy schedule.
The computers don’t seem to take into account that Arizona has played a portion of this season with their backup quarterback though. Their peripheral stats should improve once Carson Palmer is fully healthy, and their playoff odds will likely increase as well.
