AFC East

Team W L Pct. Dif GB Odds
New England Patriots 4 2 .667 31 68.4%
Buffalo Bills 3 3 .500 -8 1 22.9%
Miami Dolphins 2 3 .400 -4 1.5 22.2%
New York Jets 1 5 .167 -62 3 2.4%

As it seems to be every year, the AFC East is a one-team race for the division. The New England Patriots appear to be the only team capable of winning this, and only a Tom Brady injury is likely to change that.

Miami, despite currently sitting third in both the division standing and in the playoff odds, seems to be the closest to challenging New England in the long run. They have the talent to be better than they are currently playing. Perhaps a coaching change in the offseason can get them on track and ready to compete with the Patriots in 2015.

Meanwhile, the Bills could creep back into this picture this season if they can get some stability from their quarterbacks. The rest of the team, especially that defense, has played fairly well this season.
