AFC North

Team W L T Pct. Dif GB Odds
Cincinnati Bengals 3 1 1 .700 21 65.6%
Baltimore Ravens 4 2 0 .677 67 62.5%
Cleveland Browns 3 2 0 .600 19 .5 33.6%
Pittsburgh Steelers 3 3 0 .500 -15 1.5 27.2%

The AFC North looks like it is the best division in the NFL this year. There is currently no team with a record under .500, and only one team with a negative point differential. Every team is still in a position where a run to the postseason is possible.

While they are clearly ahead of the others, the computers still haven’t wholly bought in on either Baltimore or Cincinnati yet. Again, this is likely caused by strength of schedule concerns. The Bengals only win over a good team is against Baltimore, while the Ravens don’t have a win over a good team thus far in 2014.

Cleveland is an interesting team to follow for the next month or so. They have a very easy schedule over the next three weeks (Jaguars, Raiders, Buccaneers), and could conceivably be 6-3 at that point. There schedule gets much tougher after that, so it’ll be fun to watch how their playoff odds change throughout the rest of the season.
