Percy Harvin – Seattle Seahawks
2014 Cap Number: $13.4 million

The Seahawks gave up a king’s random to acquire Percy Harvin. Not only give him a massive contract, they also had to give three draft picks to the Minnesota Vikings for the right to do so. The move “worked” a year ago when the Seahawks won the Super Bowl, even though Harvin missed almost the entire season with a hip injury.
This season, Harvin is finally healthy, but Seattle isn’t getting the contribution from him that they envisioned. Harvin is on pace to finish the season with only 425 receiving yards on 70 catches. He is averaging just 26.6 yards per game, with is 115th in the league.
To make matters worse, Harvin’s presence has led to the Seahawks abandoning their power running game, which has been the catalyst for their offensive success in recent years. Running back Marshawn Lynch has had under 18 rushing attempts in three of Seattle’s last four games.
