According to a report from Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo ports, the Minnesota Timberwolves

are shopping forward Chase Budinger

.

One team that has been connected to Chase Budinger is one of his former teams, the Houston Rockets.

However, according to Jonathan Feigen of The Houston Chronicle, the Rockets have no interest in Chase Budinger’s contract.

Looking for help on the wing and an upgrade in outside shooting, the Timberwolves signed Chase Budinger. He is set to make $5 million this year and has a Player Option worth $5 million for the 2015-2016 season. However, the Timberwolves have since acquire several players, including the last two No. 1 overall picks, swingman Andrew Wiggins (2014) and forward Anthony Bennett (2013), which have made Chase Budinger expendable.

The Cleveland Cavaliers, Detroit Pistons, Indiana Pacers and Portland Trail Blazers have all been connected to Chase Budinger and he could likely carve out a role with all four teams.

Chase Budinger played in just 41 games last season, averaging 6.7 points, 2.5 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game while shooting 39.4% from the field, 35.0% from beyond the arc and 82.1% from the free throw line. In his career, the former Arizona Wildcat has averaged 9.0 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game while shooting 42.8% from the field, 35.7% from three and 80.6% from the charity stripe.
