According to ProFootballTalk.com, the Tennessee Titans could be without starting quarterback Jake Locker again this Sunday as they face the Washington Redskins in Washington. Locker has not played a full NFL game in the last three weeks, missing two of them completely.

Locker last played a full game way back on September 21st, a 33-7 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. So far for the season Locker has thrown four touchdowns against four interceptions. As for Whitehurst, he’s thrown three touchdowns and just one interception. At this point, Whitehurst could be the better option anyway.
Whitehurst played alright last week against the Jacksonville Jaguars in their 16-14 victory. Despite not managing to turn the ball over, he still only went 17-28 for 233 yards. He did not throw a touchdown or interception.
The victory for the Titans was just their second of the season and the first since defeating the Kansas City Chiefs 26-10 on opening day. The next few weeks will say a lot about where the Titans head this season. Right now, they sit third in the AFC South, two games behind the division-leading Indianapolis Colts.
Locker will be a game-time decision on Sunday it appears. The Titans will need stability at the quarterback position though if they want to entertain any thoughts of making a run at the Colts and the division. The competition gets much tougher after the tilt against the Skins on Sunday.
