Alabama offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin was asked earlier this week whether or not we would see quarterback Blake Sims take off with the ball a little more, and he alluded to the notion that we might.
Well, he wasn’t lying.
Currently in the first half, the Crimson Tide are having absolutely no problem with the Aggies, thanks in large part to how poorly Texas A&M plays on the defensive side of the ball. Well for Alabama’s latest touchdown, Sims proved that he can be deadly with his feet when he wants to.
Watch in the video below as Sims torches the Aggies defense for a 43-yard touchdown, making defenders look silly along the way.
Yep, Kiffin was indeed telling the truth.
This is the dimension that Sims brings to the table that the Alabama offense hasn’t seen in quite some time. With all of the offensive weapons that the Tide have on the field, knowing that Sims can make this happen at any moment is scary.
You know what else is scary? How bad this Texas A&M defense is.
