The Alabama Crimson Tide absolutely destroyed the Texas A&M Aggies in the first half on Saturday. I wish there was another way to put it, but there really isn’t. Alabama is beating them down unmercifully, and that’s thanks in large part to running back Derrick Henry.
At the half, Alabama leads Texas A&M 45-0 and Henry made some serious statements in the second quarter.
First, he had this eight-yard touchdown with about five minutes to go in the half that would give the Tide a 31-0 lead.
Then, when it seemed that Alabama might just run the clock out to end the beating for now, Blake Sims dumped a third-down pass to Henry, who proceeded to embarrass the A&M defense to the tune of 41 yards to make the score 45-0.
The CBS crew said it best during the halftime show when they asked why the Aggies even decided to get on the bus for this one.
There is a lot of violent things happening in Tuscaloosa right now, thanks to Henry.
