One week after he was limited to 22 yards receiving, far and away his lowest total of the season, Amari Cooper was back over the 100-yard mark where he was for the first four game of the year for the Crimson Tide.
Cooper had a 24-yard touchdown reception from quarterback Blake Sims in the second quarter when Alabama put the game away, but he wasn’t done there as he quickly added a second score on their opening possession in the second half.
Sims hit Cooper with this 45-yard touchdown pass when he abused the A&M cornerback Deshazor Everett for the easy pitch and catch to give Alabama a 52-0 lead.
Cooper has eight receptions for 140 yards and two touchdowns and is done for the day with Alabama routing their SEC West foes.
