Week 8 of the college football season is upon us this Saturday and while there aren’t as many intriguing match ups as we’ve seen the past few weeks, there is one game in particular that has more national championship implications than any game played this year so far.
On Saturday night two 6-0 teams will do battle in Tallahassee, Florida as the No. 5 Notre Dame Fighting Irish will be taking on the No. 2 Florida State Seminoles. This is the game that carries some serious weight as far as the College Football Playoff is concerned. Given how people view these teams’ respective schedules, there is a very good chance that the loser of this game will be left out in the end, should they win the rest of the way.
However, that’s not the only action taking place on Saturday.
In early action the Kansas State Wildcats will be taking on the Oklahoma Sooners in a huge Big 12 showdown, and as we’ve seen before, Bill Snyder knows how to deal with Bob Stoops and the Sooners.
In late night action, the Stanford Cardinal will travel to take on the Arizona State Sun Devils in a Pac-12 contest pitting the north against the south.
There is all of this and more, and below is a guide to how you can catch all of it live as it happens, either on television or online.
