Jadeveon Clowney is listed as questionable for the Houston Texans game against the Pittsburgh Steelers in a Monday Night Football telecast

The Houston Texans have a 50-50 shot of getting the No. 1 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft back in their lineup for the first time since Jadeveon Clowney tore his meniscus in Week 1 and is officially listed as questionable for Monday night’s game against Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers.

Clowney was expected to be out four-six weeks following the surgery to repair the meniscus tear in his knee and Sunday marks six weeks since the injury, so his recovery is right on track.

The former South Carolina Gamecocks All-American will add another element to a defense featuring J.J. Watt who is in the middle of an MVP season as the defensive lineman has been doing it all for the Texans this season.

Lining up Clowney next to Watt or on the opposite side of the ball should only add to the pass-rush element the Texans currently have with Watt, so adding the No. 1 pick in the draft to the mix should present quite a challenge for opposing offensive line coaches and offensive coordinators who could have their hands full with a Watt-Clowney combination.
