The 34-year-old Swedish forward brought it home Friday night against the Toronto Maple Leafs in a 4-1 victory for the Detroit Red Wings, scoring possibly the sickest goal of the night despite having to leave the game early due to a leg injury in the final minutes of the second period.
According to Franzen, the reason for leaving the game was leg spasms, but he “insists it’s not serious”.

Life was a lot easier when the Wings weren’t in the same division as my favorite team, cause I felt less guilty about loving them so much.
