Maryland QB CJ Brown Gets Helmet Ripped Off (Video)
By Josh Hill
Maryland Terrapins quarterback C.J. Brown decided to take off on a run in the Terrapins game against the Iowa Hawkeyes, but defensive back Sean Draper thought it was a good idea to rip his helmet off.
The Maryland Terrapins are actually not off to that bad of a start in the 2014 season, but the Iowa Hawkeyes are off to an even better start. The Big 10 showdown has already featured more than a few great plays, but one of the more interesting plays happened on a run by Maryland quarterback C.J. Brown.

On the run, Brown decided to pick up some extra yards on a scramble, but Iowa Hawkeyes cornerback Sean Draper had a slightly different idea of what was going to happen. Brown no doubt picked up some positive yardage, but Draper ended things by ripping off the quarterback’s helmet.
Check out the play below:
This doesn’t appear to be an intentional play on the part of Draper, but it’s still not a good look. The 5-1 Hawkeyes are undefeated in the Big Ten this year, but Maryland is looking to end that.
One way to do that is to take out the opposing team’s quarterback, and ripping his helmet off is one way to try and do that.
