The battle between the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Florida State Seminoles is underway in Tallahassee Saturday night and the Irish showed that they are in this one with no fear whatsoever against the defending champs. Well, at least we know that Everett Golson isn’t scared.
In the first quarter, it was the Irish who got themselves on the board first. At the end of the opening period, Golson drove the team 84 yards down the field against Florida State and he capped it all off with this one-yard touchdown pass to Corey Robinson and the 7-0 lead.
Although he has played tremendously this season and has yet to lose a game in the regular season in his career as a starter, this is a huge statement game for Golson and he is indeed making his presence felt.
