Oklahoma quarterback Trevor Knight has been having a weird Saturday against the Kansas State Wildcats. He was injured early on in the game and then needed to go to the locker room for an evaluation. He would return, but threw a pick-six that put K-State up 14-7.
However, Knight would get his redemption not long after that.
Needing a big play so the Sooners would avoid being out of this one earlier than desired, Knight hit Sterling Shepard on this beautiful 47-yard touchdown strike that would tie things all up at 14.
That was something that the Sooners desperately needed in this one, as you never want to fall too far behind a Kansas State team too early. We’ve seen what Bill Snyder teams can do.
