A Tulsa Golden Hurricane freshman added some elevation to a trick play touchdown early in their game with the South Florida Bulls at Chapman Stadium.
Tulsa freshman Bishop Louie showed some hopes on his way to an 18-yard touchdown run on a reverse against South Florida in the first quarter of their American Athletic Conference matchup at Chapman Stadium in Tulsa, Okla.
Louie gave the Golden Hurricane, who came in with a 1-5 overall mark and a 1-1 record in the American, a 17-7 lead late in the first period.

The freshman wide receiver made a nifty move to hurdle quarterback Dane Evans, who was out in front of the play as a lead blocker.
That often doesn’t end well, but Evans did a nice job of taking out the South Florida defensive back, but fell right in front of Louie.
No worries—Louie hopped over the fallen quarterback and cruised into the end zone.
Louie had already been involved in the touchdown drive in a more conventional role for a wideout, catching a 39-yard pass from Evans to get the ball into South Florida territory two plays before the score.
Coming into the game, Louie’s production had been sporadic—seven receptions for 71 yards and one rushing attempt that gained 10 yards.
It was his first career touchdown, so congratulations … both for the score and for the style points.
