A look at how the college football rankings may look after an exciting Week 8 of action.

Week 8 of the college football season is now behind us, and it did not disappoint. The college football rankings will also be looking a little different after all that we saw.

To begin the day, the No. 4 Baylor Bears were upset on the road by the West Virginia Mountaineers, 41-27. The Baylor defense finally failed them to the point where they couldn’t recover, and with that, their national championship hopes are gone.

In the afternoon, we learned that the Alabama Crimson Tide dynasty is far from dead, as they absolutely obliterated the Texas A&M Aggies in Tuscaloosa, 59-0. It was just a complete domination from start to finish, and as the season begins to wind down here, Alabama may have caught a second win.

Finally, in the night game, the Florida State Seminoles and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish played what probably was the game of the year. Notre Dame seemed as if it was poised to pull the upset and remain unbeaten, but in the end, the ‘Noles were able to pull it out.

These games and more will most certainly affect the rankings, and with that, here is a look at what we could expect to see when the rankings are released on Sunday.
