After being written off before the season even began, the Dallas Cowboys are surprisingly 5-1. Meanwhile, the New York Giants are 3-3 and have looked wildly inconsistent this season.
In a game that started with a scuffle at the kickoff, the Giants and Cowboys have been battling in a close game Sunday. Going into the second quarter down 7-0, the Giants scored two-straight touchdowns to take the lead. The second came on an Eli Manning throw to tight end Daniel Fells.
Manning made the throw in the face of pressure, connecting with Fells near the Dallas 15-yard line. Fells turned up field and ran through multiple poor attempts at tackles by the Cowboys and into the end zone. That gave New York the 14-7 lead.
