Baltimore Ravens fans were witness to one of the better wins on the season that the team has had, as the Atlanta Falcons were not even close to competing on Sunday afternoon.

It was a bad afternoon for the Atlanta Falcons and Matt Ryan, as the offense was stagnant and couldn’t get any points when they needed them against the Baltimore Ravens. It wasn’t a blow out loss and the Falcons had opportunities to get back into the game, but they couldn’t grab them when they were presented.

Ryan didn’t throw a pick on the afternoon but barely got over 200 yards on the game as he sat with just 209 on the day with under four minutes remaining. He threw a touchdown pass to make fantasy owners somewhat happy, but overall it was a dud of a day for Ryan and the Atlanta offense.

This was pretty much the Falcons afternoon in a nutshell, as the offense couldn’t get anything going with Matt Ryan.

Baltimore’s win wasn’t as commanding as it was last week against the lowly Tampa Bay Buccaneers but that just means this win has so much more weight. The Ravens are now 5-2 on the season and in control of the AFC North. Cincinnati lost in Indianapolis, the Browns struggled against the Jaguars and Pittsburgh will play on Monday against Houston.

Atlanta is slipping in the NFC, as the conference seems to be wide open with another powerful team struggling to get wins. Baltimore was dominant, but the mistakes the Falcons made are killing them in more than one way.
