The Washington Redskins triumph over the Tennessee Titans by a Field Goal

Wait. So the Washington Redskins won a game? Good for you, Washington.

After an almost impressive five-game losing streak, it looks like RGIII’s fabulous, politically controversial football squad has finally notched their second win of the season.

Of course, I don’t really know what this says about the Tennessee Titans, other than that that they deserve to be sitting with an identical record to the Redskins. You let Kirk Cousins play a full, consistent game? Not really sure that bodes well for you as a squad in comparison to the rest of the league, and it probably means that you deserved to lose.

The final score was a little heartbreaking for Tennessee, of course, as Kai Forbath brought the Redskins a victory in the final seconds of the game with a 22-yard field goal kick that pushed the Washington squad ahead by those extra, much-needed three points. The final score was 19-17, with neither team doing much more than reminding their fans why this has been a particularly alcoholic year for fans in DC and Tennessee alike.

Just remember not to celebrate too much, Washington- you guys play the Dallas Cowboys next. So, yeah. Think on that.
