In a recent interview, John Cena was the latest one to break his silence in regards to CM Punk, and what he had to say may even shock some people.

There have been some people either currently affiliated with WWE or used to be that have given their thoughts on CM Punk, who walked out on the company this past January after a dispute with management. However, there has never been anyone with the star power of John Cena to talk about his former rival, until now.
In WWE 2K15, you can play with some of the greatest rivalries, including Cena vs CM Punk. Well, of course, Punk was genuinely one of his biggest foils, and the two even had one of the more memorable matches in wrestling history back at Money in the Bank of 2011.
Cena was asked whether he’s glad that fans can now relive all of that in an interview with Fighting Spirit, and he actually threw a pretty solid compliment the way of Punk.
“Whether he’s here or not, he’s certainly left a mark in WWE,” Cena said. “He’s got to be in the game, and it’s cool that that moment is not forgotten.”
He’s not wrong. While there is a legitimate reason to be mad at Punk for the way he left and never came back, he did make a very good mark on the company’s history.
Now the only question is whether this feud will ever be a reality again one day, or if the only way you can see it is on a video game or WWE Network.
