Kobe Bryant recently revealed the advice that he gave to rookie power forward Julius Randle, and he was stern with the Kentucky product, to say the least.

Kobe Bryant is ready to return for the Los Angeles Lakers as the regular season is ready to get underway this month and he has a little bit of help in the form of forward Julius Randle, who the team recently selected with their Top 10 pick in the NBA Draft out of Kentucky. Now of course, being a rookie, Randle will need to be helped along a bit before he becomes a key factor in making sure that the Lakers can get back to the playoffs.
However, as he progresses, he could not have asked for any better mentors than Kobe and new head coach Byron Scott, who had his fair share of success as a Laker back in the day. Needless to say, he better soak it all in and Kobe made sure that he got that point across.
Actually, he was pretty upfront about it.

How big of an idiot would Randle be if he didn’t heed every bit of advice of Kobe and Scoot? Well, bigger idiots than Kobe’s latest nemesis, ESPN.
Kobe: "ESPN are idiots but you're a really big idiot if you manage to f--- this up."

Well, at the very least, Kobe made sure that he did get the point across. He was pretty blunt about it, but he’s not wrong.
