Free agency is about to hit MLB. We will take a look at the top players available. Today, we will cover the starting pitchers.

Well, the World Series is set. The Kansas City Royals will meet the San Francisco Giants. The latest this 2014 MLB season will go will be October 29th. Then from there we will experience the magic that is the MLB Hot Stove.

Many teams will have their fortunes turn. Some will add to their rosters and help themselves become contenders, like the Seattle Mariners did this season, while others will lose some of their best players and not be as strong. There will be plenty of fans celebrating their teams’ moves, and an equally number of fans cursing the losses their teams had or missing out on top free agents.

Whatever the case, the Hot Stove part of the offseason is an exciting time. So much speculation on who is going where, which teams are going to be players in free agency, and how much money the free agents are going to get.

Today we will cover the starting pitchers. Those are the arms that will have a large impact on their prospective teams’ success. They will become the faces of their franchises.

Picking the right starting pitcher can go a long way to becoming a winning team. Pick the right one, and there could be a lot of W’s in your future. Pick the wrong one, and you will see lots of L’s AND you’re stuck with a bad contract.
