Week 7 of the NFL’s regular season saw the best of the best take their spot at the top.

The best of the best in the NFL made their case to claim their spot at the top in Week 7 as the contenders start to separate themselves from the pretenders.

The Dallas Cowboys won their sixth straight game, defeating the Giants 31-21, outscoring the Giants 17-7 in the second half to secure the win.  But are the Cowboys a legitimate contender in the NFC?

Speaking of the best, Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning became the league’s all-time leader in passing touchdowns, throwing four touchdowns in Denver’s 42-17 rout of the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday Night Football giving him 510 in his career (and counting).

Speaking of greatness, the Jacksonville Jaguars also won their first game of the season in Week 7, defeating the Cleveland Browns 24-6.

The Raiders, however, still didn’t win, falling to Arizona 24-13 to fall to 0-6 while keeping their title as the worst team in the NFL.

Detroit, Buffalo and Kansas City all won their games in the final minute, giving Week 7 some good old end-of-game drama.

So what’s there to talk about for Week 7?  Let’s dig in and overreact to the week that was.
