Bovada.lv has updated the odds for the Heisman Trophy on Tuesday, with reigning winner Jameis Winston’s odds plummeting and Marcus Mariota still the favorite.
Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota is still the favorite for the Heisman Trophy in updated odds released Tuesday by the online gaming site Bovada.lv.
Meanwhile, reigning winner Jameis Winston of Florida State is officially a long shot to join former Ohio State star Archie Griffin as the only two-time winners of college football’s most prestigious award.

Mariota is now listed as a 3/2 favorite to win the award, just ahead of
quarterback Dark Prescott, who is at 9/4.
Wisconsin running back Melvin Gordon is the only other player with single-digit odds, currently running at 6/1.
Mariota, a junior from Honolulu, has completed 70.2 percent of his passes for 1,957 yards and 19 touchdowns and has not thrown an interception in 188 attempts this season. He also has 289 yards and five touchdowns on 56 rushing attempts. The Ducks are 6-1 overall and are ranked No. 6 in the latest Associated Press poll.
Prescott, a junior from Haughton, La., has Mississippi State unbeaten at 6-0 and atop the national polls. He’s completed 61.5 percent of his passes for 1,478 yards and 14 touchdowns with four interceptions and has rushed for 576 yards and eight scores.
Gordon, a junior from Kenosha, Wis., is second in FBS with 1,046 rushing yards for the 4-2 Badgers. He has two 200-yard games this season and has scored 13 touchdowns. He also has a receiving touchdown this year.
