The Giants and 49’ers will be on bye for this fantasy week. Also, both CJ Spiller and Fred Jackson caught the injury bug this week.
Here are the waiver wire adds for this week that will boost your team for the long-term.
Week 8 waiver adds
- Bryce Brown leads the race in the best waiver wire add of the week. Fred Jackson and CJ Spiller both went down with injuries last week, with CJ Spiller breaking his collarbone ending his season on a 56 yard run. Jackson also went down with a groin injury, but will still be out for at least a month. Bryce Brown is a talented back who put up some huge numbers in Philly a few years ago when LeSean McCoy went down with an injury. Brown will be the feature back for at least a month until Jackson’s return.
- Tre Mason played on 27 of 51 snaps, racking up 85 yards and one touchdown. Zac Stacy is now a non-factor for the most part, and can safely be dropped for Tre Mason or Benny Cunningham with Mason being the most talented back of the bunch. A tough schedule ahead could result in the Rams playing from behind, limiting his production. However, he is still a great add for the upcoming bye weeks.
- Denard Robinson put up a great game last week and hopes to remain the lead back. Robinson has looked much better than every other back this season for the Jaguars. He ended his night with 127 yards and a touchdown, finally putting the Jaguars running game on the map. The Jaguars face Cincinnati, Dallas, and Indianapolis in the next four weeks.
- The Miami defense is a great streaming option this week. The Dolphins face the Jaguars this week and Blake Bortles that just threw three interceptions against a bottom of the barrel Cleveland defense. Miami has a tough run defense and will force Bortles to throw it.
