Fantasy Football Waiver Wire 2014: Top 10 Week 8 pickups

Anthony Dixon-RB-Buffalo Bills (0.2%)
The Bills crowded backfield opened up in a hurry on Sunday with Fred Jackson going down with a groin injury and C.J. Spiller leaving with a broken collarbone. With both of the Bills’ top two running backs out for an extended period of time, Dixon is next man up for the Bills.
On Sunday, Dixon ran 13 times for 51 yards as the only back who was active behind the two fallen Bills. He may have to share time with Bryce Brown, but right now it looks like Dixon is lined up to be the primary back.
Try not to start Dixon if you can help it this week to see how the carries shake out, but Dixon is the back I’d go with if you have to dive into the Buffalo backfield for this week. Dixon does have realistic upside for the next few weeks, since the Bills have favorable matchups after their week 9 bye.
