Stillwater police officers arrested sophomore receiver Jhajuan Seales and freshman cornerback Juwan Offray around 4:00 a.m. Sunday on suspicion of public intoxication. The pair were found asleep inside a 2014 Ford Focus, which was running when officers approached the vehicle at the Whataburger drive thru.

"According to the police report:“Both males were totally asleep and oblivious to anything going on around them,” one of the officers stated in the report. The police report indicates that the officers awakened Seales and Offray by knocking on the car windows. Seales and Offray “seemed very lethargic and confused” and “their eyes were red and watery with a glassy appearance,” the report states.More from the officers’ report: “I observed Seales trying to turn the vehicle off and he seemed very confused and unable to possess even the manual dexterity to simply turn the key to the off position. In fact, (Offray) had to physically help Seales turn the vehicle off.”“When Jhajuan opened the driver-side door,” one of the officers reported, “I was immediately overwhelmed with a very strong odor associated with an alcoholic beverage coming from the car.”"

Seales, who was driving the vehicle, was very lucky to have fallen asleep at the wheel with his foot on the brake and not the accelerator. But chalk up another one in the win column for idiotic college athletes making dumb mistakes.

Seales has been great for the Oklahoma State Cowboys so far this season as he’s caught 13 passes for 236 yards and three touchdowns so far this season.

The team has not yet indicated if the players will be kicked off the team or if either player would play this weekend in the team’s upcoming game at home against West Virginia.

Oklahoma State is 5-2 this season after taking a big 42-9 loss to No. 10 TCU last Saturday. This incident won’t help them for their upcoming game against a West Virginia team that just knocked off Baylor and found themselves in the top-25.
