Darrelle Revis Returns To Practice Wednesday
By Clinton Cole
Patriots’ Darrelle Revis was sent home from practice Tuesday, but returned today.
Revis Island was back at practice Wednesday afternoon after being sent home on Tuesday by head coach Bill Belichick according to an article in the Boston Globe.
Widely-regarded as one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL, the seventh-year veteran is playing in his first season with the New England Patriots.
The Patriots and head coach Bill Belichick made it quite clear that there would be no special favors given to anyone, as Revis wasn’t able to attend any team meetings either.
According to one source, Belichick said that the message was definitely sent and that the rules apply to everybody.
The message Belichick sent shouldn’t come as a surprise as he has a history of sending players home for tardiness.

Just ask the Randy Moss, Gary Guyton, Adalius Thomas and Derrick Burgess. If Belichick wouldn’t accept a snowstorm as an excuse, I can’t imagine Revis even tried to plead his case on this one.
New England hosts the Chicago Bears this weekend and will need all of their defensive weapons ready to go in order to combat one of the league’s better offenses.
Chandler Jones, whom the Bears passed on for Shea Mcllelan, will be out for multiple weeks with a hip pointer.
Revis has had Brandon Marshall’s number over the years and hopes to continue that on Sunday.
Bears’ fans hope that Revis makes another dumb mistake and doesn’t play Sunday, but I don’t see that happening.
