Kings’ Jake Muzzin Makes Season Debut
Los Angeles Kings will get Jake Muzzin back just as they are losing Slava Voynov
The Los Angeles Kings will have to play their next few games- at the very least- without defenseman Slava Voynov. The blue-liner, who was arrested on suspicions of a domestic abuse case, will be a huge loss to the team; he averaged over 23 minutes per game at the start of the season.

Luckily, the team is re-gaining an old face, just in time to lose a player. Jake Muzzin, who has missed the first six games of the season due to injury, has announced that he will be back in time for Thursday’s game against the Buffalo Sabres.
Muzzin, who was just signed to a five-year, $20 million contract extension, should expect to be thrust into some pretty heavy playing time. He’s not 100% yet per reports, but insists that he’s just been waiting for the doctor’s okay to head out with the team. He was a part of the squad that just won the 2014 Stanley Cup, and his name was tossed around quite a bit in the post-season- so if his play back in the spring is any indication, even an almost-recovered Jake Muzzin is pretty damn good.
The Kings will host the Sabres at Staples Center in Los Angeles for Muzzin’s return.
