Marshawn Lynch’s agent refuted bogus reports that Lynch refused to board the team bus after finding out receiver Percy Harvin had been traded to the New York Jets.

Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch has been a lightning rod for controversy since entering the NFL. It seems that at least this time, he’s been unjustly accused of causing dissent after Lynch and teammates learned of teammate Percy Harvin’s trade as Seattle was boarding the bus before the team’s trip to St. Louis.

Pro Football Talk reports that Lynch’s agent, Doug Hendrickson, tweeted that reports of Lynch’s refusal to board said bus are ‘bogus‘. “These reports of (Lynch) going off and not wanting to get on bus are absurd. Please report accurate stories and not bogus ones,” Hendrickson said.

Sources confirmed Hendrickson’s story to PFT, which puts to a rest this flickering rumor surrounding Beast Mode.

Once again we’re treated to some reckless reporting surrounding Marshawn Lynch, which is nothing new. Lynch made himself a media target early in his career in his dealings with the Buffalo Bills. He was basically silent to the media upon arrival in Seattle and he has not subsided from that stance.

While one of the most effective running backs in the league, expect Lynch’s media presence to remain mysterious and enigmatic as he refuses to shed light on virtually anything to do with himself.
