Antonio Gates Catches Second Touchdown Of The Game (Video)

Antonio Gates continued to have an outstanding game on Thursday for the San Diego Chargers, catching his second touchdown of the night against the Denver Broncos in week 8 NFL action.

The San Diego Chargers ultimately got outrun by the Denver Broncos’ offense in a key divisional game on Thursday night at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. That was not for lack of effort from their Hall of Fame tight end, however.
Antonio Gates had an outstanding game for the Chargers. He set the franchise record for receiving yards and then, late in the fourth quarter, Gates hauled in his second touchdown of the game.
This play was no easy task for Gates, as he had to fight for the ball at the goal line and then get it across the plain. Check out video of the play below:
Even with this loss Thurday night, the Chargers look like a team to be reckoned with this season. Philip Rivers and the Chargers’ offense are still rolling, which should set up Gates and his teammates for a number of big games moving forward. Let’s be honest, there is no shame in losing a game on the road against the Broncos, especially on a short week.
Gates and the Chargers will surely look forward to their rematch with the Broncos later this season.
