Chris Douglas-Roberts Wears Short Shorts
By Clinton Cole
Chris Douglas-Roberts signed a one-year deal with the LA Clippers and now wears short shorts.
According to a Deadspin article, Chris Douglas-Roberts thinks short shorts are the way to go now.
He says he feels more comfortable on the defensive end and I tend to agree.
We haven’t seen short shorts in the NBA since the days of John Stockton and his extremely white legs.
Andy Bailey isn’t impressed:
Douglas-Roberts told the LA Times that these are the shortest the make shorts these days.

“They want me to check the best guy and you have to have stamina, you have to be able to move,” Douglas-Roberts said. “I’m not saying you can’t move with bigger shorts, but I feel more comfortable in these.”
Douglas-Roberts’ hair has also garnered the attention of fans in the preseason:
The 6’7″ shooting guard from Memphis has averaged just over seven points and two rebounds since being drafted by the New Jersey Nets (now Brooklyn Nets) in 2008. Los Angeles signed Douglas-Roberts to the league’s veteran minimum this summer.
LA looks to make a run at the NBA Finals this season so I’m sure we will see a lot of the Sideshow Bob look-a-like.
