Diego Costa Hospitalized And Released; Chelsea Faces Manchester United Sunday
By Clinton Cole
Chelsea striker Diego Costa has been released from a hospital following a stomach illness.
Chelsea fans are hoping that striker Diego Costa will be ready to go for Sunday’s match against Manchester United, but that seems quite unlikely.
According to a Sky Sports article, the soccer star has missed the previous two matches with a hamstring injury he sustained while playing with Spain. Costa also appears to be hampered by a groin strain that may ultimately keep him out of the biggest match of the season for Chelsea.

Costa already has nine goals this season for the league leaders.
Chelsea will also be without Loic Remy, which means 36-year-old Didier Drogba will be the only striker with experience available to play. Chelsea might turn to Dominic Solanke if Costa can’t go.
Remy, who Chelsea recently signed from Queens Park Rangers, limped off and was substituted for in Chelsea’s match with NK Maribor on Tuesday.
Manchester United might be without both Angel di Maria and Ander Herrera. Their have been many conflicting reports in regards to di Maria, so Man U fans will be left in limbo until Sunday.
As it goes in any sport, we may not know who is actually available until gametime.
