Former Los Angeles Ram Eric Dickerson believes that Los Angeles is the right place for an NFL team and they should relocate.

In an interview conducted by TMZ Sports, former Los Angeles Rams running back Eric Dickerson said that the St. Louis Rams belong in Los Angeles.

More from Los Angeles Rams

Dickerson played for the Los Angeles Rams from 1983-1987, seven years before they moved to St. Louis.

Dickerson said it would be “fantastic” if the Rams came back to LA, saying “They’re the LA Rams.”

When asked what he thought about both the Oakland Raiders and St. Louis Rams relocating to Los Angeles, Dickerson said, “The Raiders need to stay in Oakland, I just feel like they’re the Oakland Raiders.”

Sure, Eric Dickerson, don’t want to share your precious city? We get it.

When asked if he thought it was true that LA fans don’t deserve an NFL team because when they start losing, the fans won’t come, Dickerson replied, “I don’t think it would happen now. Football is too big right now. Back in the day when it wasn’t so big, fans wouldn’t come out and LA didn’t deserve a team.”

Magic Johnson has been at the forefront of trying to get a team to come to LA and while we thought it would be the Oakland Raiders, the focus could now shift to the St. Louis Rams, who have the third lowest average attendance in the NFL. Those numbers could be boosted in Los Angeles.
