Gregg Popovich helped give ESPN’s Michelle Beadle an awesome birthday surprise on Thursday.
Gregg Popovich is in the midst of preparing to begin the long journey in helping the San Antonio Spurs defend their 2014 NBA championship.

But the legendary coach took some time out to partake in a birthday surprise for ESPN’s Michelle Beadle.

Beadle’s die-hard Spurs fandom is well-known. She could be seen celebrating throughout the Spurs’ dominant wins at home versus the Miami Heat during this past year’s NBA Finals.

This surprise was really well done, so kudos to Popovich and SportsNation for this. It’s pretty clear in the video how much Beadle was loving it. The SportsNation co-host also took to Twitter to let her happiness be known.

Beadle began her work on SportsNation in 2009 and was with the show until 2012, when she left ESPN to join NBC. Beadle ultimately returned to ESPN and SportsNation in 2014.
