Kevin Love says he doesn’t care if he’s the second or third wheel for the Cavaliers.
Much has been made about how shots and touches will be divided up on the new-look Cleveland Cavaliers between stars LeBron James, Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving.

Love, for one, says he doesn’t care about what his role on the team his and that winning is all that matters to him.
Love said the following in a first-person essay for theplayerstribune.com:
"I kept hearing about how our challenge was going to be figuring out how to share the ball among LeBron, Kyrie and myself. Reporters kept asking me how I felt about it:Are you the second wheel? Are you the third wheel? What about your stats? To them I say: I don’t care. I’ve never played in a playoff game. I came to Cleveland because I want to win. I’ll grab a broom and sweep the floors if it gets me an NBA title."
This is easy for Love to say, but whether he will be truly comfortable being the second and third wheel in the majority of games won’t be known until the season starts. He’s certainly not in for an easy transition, considering he was a 26-point-per-game scorer last season and the clear-cut alpha dog on the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Still, it appears Love has the right attitude about the situation at the moment, and that’s all the Cavs can ask for.
