Tennessee fans have come up with a different version of a classic game this week, as they played ‘pin the tail on Lane Kiffin’ at a tailgating party in advance of the team’s match-up with the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Never has an offensive coordinator received so much attention in the lead-up to a college football game. Yet here we are, with an intriguing SEC match-up between the Tennessee Volunteers and the Alabama Crimson Tide this weekend, and all anybody can talk about is former Tennessee head coach and current Alabama offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin.
To be fair, Tennessee fans have plenty of reason to be mad at Kiffin. They are entitled to baggage with him for the foreseeable future. Goodness knows that the Volunteers’ fans have taken advantage of the chance to take shots at Kiffin this week leading up to his return.
In perhaps the most creative take on the situation, these Tennessee fans set up a game of ‘Pin the Tail on Lane Kiffin’ as part of a tailgate party.

On the football field, the advantage lies squarely with Alabama in this match-up. But when it comes to trolling in the lead-up to the game, let’s call this advantage Tennessee. They deserve this win.
