The Tour de France doesn’t get the love it otherwise should, as it’s an insanely competitive race where endurance is everything and one little pebble can mean the difference between winning the race or crashing out.
What others don’t realize also is that the Tour de France is all about strategy as much as it is about endurance. This map becoming available now helps cyclists know where they will be going and what the distances they’ll need to travel will be.
It seems miniscule to the average fan, but starting training now for the Tour de France is how you get ahead, as the route map becoming available will help more than just fans of the race figure things out ahead of time.
