These will cover the games that kickoff between noon and 3pm eastern on Saturday.
UAB at Arkansas(-26.5): This is a large line, but Arkansas has the run game and the defense to cover it. And they need it after what Georgia did to them last week. Give me the Hogs.
Memphis(-23.5) at SMU: SMU has only scored more than six points once all year, and that was against East Carolina. That was likely a fluke. Give me Memphis.
North Carolina at Virginia(-6.5): With the way the Tarheel offense has been rolling lately, I seriously doubt the Cavs cover this. Give me UNC.
Texas at (11)Kansas State(-10.5): Texas got gouged by Iowa State last week in Austin. K-State covers this with relative ease.
Minnesota(-5.5) at Illinois: Minnesota may have struggled with Purdue, but they won’t with the Illini. Give me Minnesota.
Maryland at Wisconsin(-10.5): Wow, what a joke this is. I actually like Maryland straight up. Give me the Terps for my lock of the early games!
Rutgers at (16)Nebraska(-19.5): Wow, this is a big one. Considering that they beat Northwestern by more than this in Evanston, I will take Nebraska.
North Texas at Rice(-13.5): Nope, I don’t buy it. Rice is nowhere near the team that they were last year. Give me the Mean Green.
Northern Illinois(-20.5) at Eastern Michigan: Considering the Eagles just got blown out by UMass, I think I have to go with NIU.
San Jose State at Navy(-9.5) Can an option team win by double digits? Over SJSU, probably. I will take Navy.
Ohio at Western Michigan(-10.5): Really? No chance. Give me Ohio with confidence.
Massachusetts at Toledo(-17.5): I think this is a bit too high. Call me crazy, but I’m taking UMass. They have the mojo right now!
Akron(-1.5) at Ball State: Akron burned me last week, but I think Ball State overachieved. Give me Akron.
Georgia Southern(-17.5) at Georgia State: I like Georgia Southern and the way they run the ball, but GSU has only been covered once. Give me Georgia State at home.
(25)UCLA(-13.5) at Colorado: Have they watched Colorado? This is too low. Give me the Bruins.
Kent State at Miami(OH)(-6.5): Bad and worse meet in this one. Heads. I guess that means I’m taking the home team.
Stay tuned for the rest of my picks! They will all be up by noon Saturday!
