There are many out there that believe suspended
running back Todd Gurley should be re-instated and therefore support the #FreeGurley movement.
Not surprisingly, Gurley, one of the best players in college football, has been a big participant in the movement. Gurley was seen earlier this week in a shirt that read “Free Gurley” on the front.
Now, Gurley has been spotted at a Halloween party wearing a pirate costume while yelling “Free me!”

This is simply incredible and great work by Gurley to spread his cause.
Luckily for Gurley, his suspension appears to be nearing an end. Georgia applied for Gurley’s reinstatement and released the following statement Wednesday:
"Todd has confirmed his desire to seek reinstatement, and the University fully supports Todd’s request. The University plans to file the necessary paperwork with the NCAA later today. (…)"
"The University hopes for and expects a prompt ruling by the NCAA so that Todd, his coaches, and teammates can adequately prepare for our next game."
Georgia’s next game is Nov.1 at EverBank Field against Florida.
