Bud Selig Sold Hank Aaron His First Car
Bud Selig and Hank Aaron are friends, they’re so close that apparently Aaron bought Selig’s first car.
Bud Selig has always had a close relationship with Atlanta Braves slugger Henry (Hank) Aaron, but apparently Selig sold his first car to one of the best homerun hitters in MLB history Mr. Aaron. Aaron was the homerun king numbers wise before being surpassed by Giants slugger Barry Bonds. The only difference between the two is that Aaron didn’t cheat to get the record and that is why he is still considered by many as the best homerun hitter in MLB history.
Selig told reporters that he still believes that Aaron is the greatest homerun hitter ever and he meant every word that he said. Aaron ended his career at 755 homeruns and his 715th homerun that surpassed Babe Ruth’s record remains one of the most memorable moments in MLB history. Aaron hit the homerun and two ecstatic fans ran the bases with Aaron in celebration.

Statistically wise, Aaron may not be the homerun king anymore, but if no steroids were involved his name would most likely still be at the top of the list. Bud Selig’s reign as commissioner had its ups and downs, but his relationship with Aaron seems like a true friendship. You know it’s real when Selig sold Aaron his first car.
