This will cover the picks for the games that kick off between 3:30 and 6 pm eastern.
Georgia Tech at Pittsburgh(-3.5): I don’t buy this. Tech is the better team. Give me the Bees straight up for my lock of the day!
Central Michigan(-5.5) at Buffalo: The Chippewas have been playing very well lately. I have to take them, even on the road.
Oregon State at Stanford(-13.5): This looks a bit high. The Stanford defense has been good, but the offense likely isn’t good enough for them to cover. Give me Oregon State.
Florida Atlantic at (23)Marshall(-28.5): This line has been steadily climbing. Now I think it has gone too high. I’m going to take FAU because of that half point.
Louisiana Tech(-9.5) at Southern Mississippi: I learned my lesson. I’m not picking against the Bulldogs again.
Michigan at Michigan State(-17.5): There is no doubt in my mind that the Spartans can cover this, but they won’t. Their defense had trouble with Purdue and Indiana picked up some yards on them. Michigan is playing with a purpose now, and this his a rivalry game. I am actually going to go with the Wolverines.
(22)West Virginia at Oklahoma State(EVEN): This has all of the makings of a letdown game for the Mountaineers. I’m not going to let what TCU did to the Cowboys last week alter this, Give me Okie State.
Texas Tech at (10)TCU(-23.5): This line is climbing steadily due to the Froggies dismantling of Oklahoma State last week. If they can do it to the Cowboys, they can do it to Tech. Give me TCU.
Boston College(-13.5) at Wake Forest: The Deacons are likely the worst team in the ACC. I have to take BC.
(1)Mississippi State(-14.5) at Kentucky: This is too low. There is no way I’m going against the Bulldogs right now.
Vanderbilt at Missouri(-23.5): The Tiger defense won’t play like they did against Florida every week, and I doubt this offense can score 24 right now, let alone win by it. Give me Vandy.
Old Dominion at Western Kentucky(-13.5): This could be a high scoring affair. Both teams have good offenses. That said, WKU’s defense is light years ahead of Old Dominion. Give me the Hilltoppers at home.
UNLV at Utah State(-17.5): I don’t really like the half, but the Rebels have been bad. Really bad. Give me Utah State.
Temple at Central Florida(-7.5): I am not sure why this line is falling. Yes, Temple has a good defense, but their offense hasn’t been all that great of late. That said, I have a hard time seeing UCF winning by two scores. I will take Temple.
(15)Arizona(-2.5) at Washington State: The Cougars have played well at home, but I still like Arizona here. Especially or less than three points.
