The 5-2 Kentucky Wildcats are enjoying a nice season under second-year head coach Mark Stoops. On Saturday afternoon, they are looking to shock the world by upsetting the 6-0 and No. 1 ranked Mississippi State Bulldogs.
Their upset bid did not get off to a good start. After a quick first down, Kentucky was forced to punt, giving Mississippi State the ball on their own 18-yard line. They put together a fantastic drive, going 82 yards in 11 players, capped by a 12-yard touchdown run by Josh Robinson.
Kentucky got the ball back and quickly answered, which is something they absolutely had to do. After moving just 11 yards in four plays, Kentucky quarterback Patrick Towles found wide receiver Demarco Robinson for a 67-yard touchdown. He tight-roped the sideline and avoided tackles to tie the game.
