Indiana Pacers’ George Hill Undergoes MRI
By Evan Massey
Indiana Pacers’ point guard George Hill underwent an MRI, and his status for the NBA’s season opener is in question.
The Indiana Pacers are already dealing with a major injury to Paul George, and now they have injuries that are plaguing other key pieces on their team. George Hill is one of the players that is suffering with an injury, and actually underwent an MRI on his left knee, and the severity of the injury is still unknown at this point in time.

According to a report from Scott Agness of VigilantSports.com, Hill had the MRI earlier today and could miss the start of the regular season.
Needless to say, that news is extremely concerning for the Pacers with the injuries that are bothering both David West and Rodney Stuckey as well. Indiana is going to need a big season from Hill this year if they want to make the playoffs, and he has looked very solid in preseason action.
Hill is heading into his fourth season with the Pacers, and now the pressure is on him to prove exactly good he is. He has had the excuse of both Lance Stephenson and Paul George getting the ball more than him, but that won’t be the case this year. If Hill is unable to play at a high level and pick up his scoring, the Pacers are going to be in a world of hurt.
He showed great scoring potential during his tenure with the San Antonio Spurs, and he has had some games in Indiana showing that same type of ability.
It will be a make or break season for Hill with the Pacers this year, and he needs to come through in a big way. Injuries have always seemed to nag at him throughout his career in Indiana, but this is a year where he has to push through all of that to lead the Pacers forward.
