3. Eddie Lacy, RB, Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers were expecting a big season out of second-year running back Eddie Lacy, but they haven’t gotten nearly the type of production that they were expecting. Lacy had a huge season in his rookie year, but has been extremely disappointing in his second year. Green Bay has begun splitting time between Lacy and James Starks due to the lack of production that Lacy has given them by himself.

Lacy has picked up 369 yards and four touchdowns on 92 carries, and hasn’t been the dominant force the the Packers expected. He has had a couple of big games that have shown the talent that he has, but nothing close to as consistent as he was last year.

Green Bay got off to a rough start, but they’re finally beginning to play like the serious contenders in the NFC that many expected them to be. Lacy hasn’t even begun playing up to the potential that he has, and it hasn’t really been close either. Hopefully for the Packers he can get things going, but it needs to be soon to help the Packers take control of the NFC North.
