Tennessee Vols Fans Still Hate Lane Kiffin (Photo)

Tennessee Volunteers fans don’t like Lane Kiffin and when the former head coach returned to Tennessee, Vols fans let him know it.
Lane Kiffin returns to Tennessee Saturday, but this time as a member of the Alabama coaching staff. As if a top college football rivalry needed anymore fire. Kiffin is, to put it bluntly, despised by Tennessee fans after he left the school after just a year to take the head coaching job at USC.

Despite Kiffin’s mother saying she is “scared to death for his safety” in a recent
, Nick Saban said Kiffin will remain on the side line and will not coach from a coach’s box.
According to The Tennessean, Saban won’t be distracted by this side story. “We’re gonna play our game and do what we feel like we need to do to give our players the best chance to be successful.”
It doesn’t much matter if Saban says it won’t be a distraction. Who it matters to is Kiffin, who will be dealing with more than a banner in the sky simply reading “beat Kiffin.” You know he’ll be hearing a lot worse that that from the stands behind him. Luckily for Alabama, Tennessee isn’t very good. So even if Kiffin and the team is distracted, they should still hands the Vols pretty easily.
For us watching at home, it will be worth tuning in just to see how ugly it might get.
