Arizona Cardinals defensive end Calais Campbell is active for Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles after missing two weeks with a knee injury.

Calais Campbell is back for the Arizona Cardinals.

The Cardinals defensive end had missed the last two games after he sustained a knee injury when he was chop-blocked by Denver Broncos tight end Julius Thomas in a game on Oct. 5.

Arizona hosts the Philadelphia Eagles in a key NFC game on Sunday.

Mark Dalton, vice president of media relations for the Cardinals, posted the inactive list on Twitter:

Campbell had an injured MCL on a play that Cardinals coach Bruce Arians said was “the dirtiest play I’ve seen in 37 years.”

In four games this season, Campbell has 16 tackles, a sack, an interception and a pass defensed. Last season, Campbell had 58 tackles, nine sacks, six passes defensed, a forced fumble and he was credited with a safety.

While Arians described the play on which Campbell was injured a “premeditated high-low” block, Thomas disputed that claim.

"“There was definitely no intent to hurt anybody,” Thomas told the Denver Post. “I respect what everybody does in order to play this game—how much hard work goes into it—and I would never want to take away somebody’s ability to go out there and play football.”"

The Eagles and Cardinals each come into Sunday’s game with matching 5-1 records. While Arizona leads the NFC West by 1½ games over the San Francisco 49ers, the Eagles come into Sunday a half-game behind the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC East.
