The Detroit Lions declared wide receiver Calvin Johnson inactive for their London game against the Atlanta Falcons.

The Detroit Lions are in London to play the Atlanta Falcons at Wembley Stadium. Fantasy football fans that have Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson though have been put in quite a pickle.

Johnson has been dealing with a high ankle sprain and was getting in limited practices every day this week, leaving open the opportunity that he’d play. With the game being played in London, the game starts incredibly early, and a fantasy football player might be tempted to start Johnson.

Hopefully those people are up in time to see this and adjust their rosters accordingly, because the Lions have declared Calvin Johnson inactive today.

The Lions offense will also be without running back Reggie Bush, who is also dealing with an ankle injury. The Lions tight ends – Eric Ebron, Joseph Fauria and Brandon Pettigrew – are all inactive as well, as is right tackle LaAdrian Waddle.

It is going to be a long day in London for quarterback Matthew Stafford.
