Matthew Stafford Impresses With Hilariously Misplaced Graphic
By Josh Sanchez
The NFL is in London to kick off Sunday’s Week 8 action, and Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford was victimized with a hilariously misplaced FOX graphic.
What happens when the NFL goes to London? The networks like to put in as many graphics as possible to remind the fans that we are watching a game overseas.
Unfortunately for FOX and Matthew Stafford, a hilariously misplaced graphic of Big Ben, the clock topping the tower outside of the Palace of Westminster, was placed right between the Lions quarterback’s legs.
So, this happened (via SB Nation):
Welp.
Matthew Stafford must be really excited to get things rolling bright and early on Sunday morning at Wembley Stadium.
You can’t always plan for where a player will be on the field when a graphic goes up on the screen, but this is about as perfect of timing as you can get to entertain those of us with our minds in the gutter and the sense of humor of a teenager.
Thanks for the early morning laughter, FOX.
And for you, Matthew Stafford, I think you just found your new Twitter avatar. Do it for the people.
